Cite editors or authors?

I have read a book which is composed by several chapters, each one written by a different person.
There are two editors, and only their names appear on the cover of the book.
My doubt is, along the text when cite the book, should I put the names of the editors, or instead of the author of the chapter? And if this is the case, what are the rules? Couldn't understand it very well in Harvard...
Thanks

  1. I imagine you are citing a part of a chapter, not the whole book.
so it would be in the text the name of the author of the chapter. and in the bibliography you make different entries for each chapter:
author of chapter (year), name of chapter. In: name of edictors eds. (year) Name of book (italics). Place: Publisher.
